Miradouro do Cabo Girão
An attraction that’s certainly not for the faint-hearted, the Skywalk on the cliffs of Cabo Girão should not be missed on your next trip to Madeira. Jutting out of the side of some of the highest cliffs in Europe (580 meters above sea level), the glass walkway offers incredible views of the Madeira coastline, Funchal and the town of Câmara de Lobos.

On the day of the tour
On the day of the tour, the guide will inform you that he is already at the door of the hotel, accommodation or house waiting for you. Please, do not be late!
After the tour
The day after the tour, our commercial department will contact you to have your evaluation of our service.
Tour Details
On this, probably the most popular excursion of the Island, you will visit Cª de Lobos & Ribeira Brava.
Then, travel up through a lush valley region to the mountain pass of Encumeada at 1007 m, with a wonderful view over the north and the south coast.
Next descend to the north coast till Porto Moniz, famed for its volcanic rock swimming pools, passing through São Vicente & Seixal. Stop for lunch.
From this pretty village, climb the mountains to Paúl da Serra and descend to the south west coast till Calheta & Ponta do Sol. Finally the Cabo Girão (the 2nd highest sea climb in the world).

To receive a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before your experience begins.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the start of the experience, the amount paid will not be refunded.
Changes made in less than 24 hours before the experience starts will not be accepted.
Deadlines are based on experience local time.
This experience requires good weather conditions. If canceled due to bad weather, we will offer a different date or a full refund.
FAQ´s – Frequently Asked Questions
What is the maximum number of passengers per vehicle?
The car, a Sedan type vehicle, carries up to 4 passengers, but we recommend that you only travel a maximum of 3 passengers for your safety and comfort. As for the VAN, it transports up to 7 passengers + the guide/driver.
If there are more than 7 passengers, how do I book?
If you want to make a reservation and there are more than 7 passengers, you will need to make 2 separate reservations.
What is the hygiene protocol?
The hygiene protocols are:
- Places of constant access will be regularly disinfected
- Equipment will be disinfected between use
- Transport vehicles will be regularly disinfected
Will I have contact with the guide?
Yes, the day before our commercial department will send you by WhatsApp or email all the tour information as well as the name and contact of the guide.
Will you pick us at our accommodation, house or hotel?
The driver will pick you up at the entrance to your hotel or apartment, or another location that is more suitable for both. Don’t worry, the day before the tour you will be contacted by the guide and he will arrange everything with you.
What time does the tour start and end?
Usually the 8-hour tours start between 9:00 am and 10:00 am and ends between 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm. For the 4 hour tours, half day, usually between 9:00 am and 10:00 am and ends at 1:00 pm/2:00 pm. Arrange everything with your guide!
What kind of clothes should I bring?
Choose comfortable clothes and shoes, because will always be some walking time and Portugal has warm, sunny days for most of the year.
Bring a bathing suit for a possible swim.
